Support Your Library

Your gift of money is always welcome at the Library. We have various programs to suit your giving needs. A gift to the library is a nice way to commemorate a person, a birthday or a special event.

Memorials can be made in remembrance of a loved one or friend.  Memorials are used to purchase books, materials and furnishings.

With a cash gift of $250.00 or more, the name of the donor/memorial will be placed on our “Grace Mummert Memorial Plaque.”
Donations are tax deductible and a receipt will be provided if requested.

Things to remember when giving a memorial donation

  • Who is the memorial for
  • Who is giving the memorial
  • Memorials can be brought to the library or mailed

Join Friends of the Library

Friends of the Aurelia Public Library is a nonprofit advocacy organization which supports the Library.
Our volunteer members advocate, educate, and raise funds on behalf of the Library, its patrons, and the community.
The organization is supported by membership dues and fund raising activities. Membership dues are payable yearly but are no specific amount. Each member may determine what is right for himself; any amount of $5.00 and over is accepted.

Each year Friends sponsors a Cookie sale during the Aurelia Commercial Club Christmas Celebration.

To join just send your dues to Friends of the Aurelia Public Library, PO Box 188, Aurelia, Iowa 51005 or contact the library for more information.
